Cobourg Shot of the Race

OK…I really agonized over this (not really but I just want you to feel my pain ).  I always pick 4-6 shots from a weekend to have a vote for the shot of the race.

The Cobourg weekend was an exception.  On Saturday the weather hit some major all time lows with some nasty hard rain, wind and generally yucky conditions.

Through all of that, our friendly neighbourhood triathlete/duathlete/writer/coach/guru/Multi Ironman finisher and all round great guy, never let the weather get the best of him.  I speak of course about Roger Hospedales.  He summed up what everyone who raced on Saturday was feeling and in one fail swoop…captured the moment better than anyone else.

To give the shot of the race to anyone else would just be silly.  Here are the series of shots from Roger’s finish line splash pad!
