Until what? The start of the 2010 MultiSport Canada Triathlon Series Season of course.

I can’t wait to get going again – to get back to racing, to catch up with all the regulars of the series, and to meet some new faces.

Plus, there’s the excitement of the new venue at Woodstock. If the course is anything like the old Woodstock race, we are in for a challenge.

However, things are not all joyous. As I was writing this I just found out that we lost someone in the triathlon family – Meredith Hagan.

A few days ago, while cycling, she was struck by a car and lost her life. Only 36, she leaves behind a husband and 2 daughters. Meredith was also a co-owner of www.phatchicks.com fitness.

It is always very sad when someone loses their life in the prime of their lives. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. Visit the abovementioned website for more details about funeral arrangements and other details.
