Is it really that hard for runners to hold on to their gel wrappers until they get home or to the closest garbage? Littering is absolutely atrocious. Stop it now! Show respect for the planet and yourselves.

Did I really see Phil Mickelson hit that shot on hole 13? The dude was in between two trees and wacked the ball within a few feet of the hole. He put on a great show of golf for 4 days.

Is it necessary for the golf commentators to say “what a great golf shot!” Really? Seeing that the players they are commenting on are playing golf, what other kind of shot is there?

Departures on OLN is a really awesome show – Saturday’s at 10 pm.

Did the Raptors really show up on court yesterday to exhibit such a disgusting level of effort? Bosh is not coming back for sure. Message to the Raptors – please don’t make the playoffs if this is how you plan to play in them. You will only embarrass this city and Canada.

Do compression socks really work? Yes, they do. I’ve put in a few tough training sessions over the past few weeks and the next day soreness is drastically reduced with the use of compression socks. I am able to do workouts I never thought I’d be able to do the next day.

The new Triathlon Magazine Canada website (http://triathlonmagazine.ca) is really slick.

Does anyone really have the need for an iPad? They sure do look cool though.

Finally, I am really thankful and lucky to have incredible family and friends. Corny but 100% true.
