Santa will soon be here
We are probably all busy as heck this week so I will keep it short and sweet. I wish you all safe shopping (be nice in those parking lots), Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, and Happy Holidays!
We should all be grateful for what we have year-round, but we tend to take stock of these things around this time of year. Here are few great quotes to get those thoughts flowing.
“Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so, let us all be thankful.” – Buddha
“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” – John F. Kennedy
“The hardest arithmetic to master is that which enables us to count our blessings.” – Eric Hoffer
My 20lb Challenge Update – Can we ignore the next few weeks? This is going to be brutal. It seems that the food is amazing at every gathering I go to. I simply can’t pass it up. You only live once right? I am not eating like a bear about to go into hibernation – as in years past, but after the holidays are over with, I’ll be basically starting all over again. I gotta live life.
By the way, winter officially starts today. The days will now slowly begin to get longer, and before you know it we all will be “triathloning” and “duathloning” again. Spring returns on March 20.
Enjoy your family time.
Roger
